What are the different stages to reporting an injury in SportSmart?

An injury report consists of five stages:

Player, What, How, Actions, Summary.

An additional two stages for medically trained users are also available: 

Diagnose, Treat

Find out more about these stages below


Player 

From your list of players, select the player you want to report an injury on. You can also use the search bar to find them. 


What

Provide details on what happened, where on the body it hurts, and if the injury is connected to a previously recorded injury. 


How

Insert dates and times, locations, the sport (if you're a multi-sport organisation), and the mechanism that resulted in the injury (e.g. player being tackled, collision, non contact etc).


Diagnose (medical only)

Classify the injury based on the Orchard Sport Injury and Illness Classification System.


Treat (medical only

Input treatment plans, GP visits, and informal advise 


Actions

What advice was given, choose how to share information (MySportSmart), and include additional notes. 


Summary

Update injury progress, insert new notes, and upload media files.
